My client is a leading firm in the renewable energy sector, focusing on solar energy and storage solutions. In this position, you will contribute significantly to their financial strategies and decision-making processes for solar and energy storage projects.

About the Position:

  • Oversee financial analysis and modeling for solar projects, including project finance, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives.

  • Offer insights on financial risks, returns, and profitability to support senior management decision-making.

  • Assist in developing and executing financial strategies for successful implementation of solar and storage initiatives.

  • Conduct due diligence and financial assessments for potential solar and storage project acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.

  • Analyze complex financial data and create accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project financing proposals, including financial forecasts and cash flow analysis.

  • Perform financial analysis and due diligence for renewable energy projects, assessing feasibility and risk.

  • Review and negotiate terms in commercial agreements and legal documents.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in solar energy, particularly in C&I, community solar, or M&A transactions.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, project finance, and tax equity.

  • Experience in presenting projects for investment approval.

  • Degree in finance or economics.

  • Thorough knowledge of energy project finance transactions and risk mitigation.
