What Your Role Is:
As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our safety standards across all job sites. Your responsibilities will include:
Safety Training Development: Create, deliver, and document safety training programs across various locations.
Safety Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records.
Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections to enforce compliance with safety programs and policies.
Hazard Mitigation: Assist in identifying and mitigating hazards at job site locations.
Accident Investigation: Investigate reportable accidents, injuries, and job damages.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse safety data and compile comprehensive reports.
Training Program Development: Collaborate with local Safety Coordinators and Area Managers to develop training programs that comply with OSHA, NEC, and customer requirements.
What Skills You Will Need:
To excel in this role, you will need:
OSHA Outreach Trainer: Certification in OSHA 500 & 501, with the ability to conduct OSHA 10 and 30-hour Construction training sessions (preferred).
Industry Safety Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of industry safety practices, including NESC, DOT, OSHA, and local and state regulations and guidelines.
Authorized Trainer: Authorization to train in first aid, CPR, Fall Protection, Bucket Truck, Bucket Truck Pole Top Rescue, Crane, and Smith Driver.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
