Overview:

This position involves working within the Development team of our client's Eastern Region, reporting directly to the Director of Development-East. You will be responsible for managing various projects in different stages of development. The primary focus of the team is to expand our client's utility-scale solar PV and solar + storage project portfolio through greenfield development and acquisitions across Eastern markets including SERC & PJM regions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects, encompassing tasks such as site selection, site control, cultivating local relationships, conducting environmental studies, navigating interconnection processes, and overseeing property tax abatement processes.

• Supervise the development of utility-scale projects within the PJM and SERC regions on behalf of our client.

• Conduct due diligence and perform risk assessments pertaining to analogous project development and acquisitions for our client.

• Guide the permitting process from the initial development phase through COD for our client.

• Offer transparent, accurate, and timely progress updates to the management of our client.

• Undertake site visits, collaborate with third-party consultants, engage with transmission planning engineers, communicate with landowners, and interact with local officials as necessary for our client.

• Take the lead in project development by promoting effective communication and streamlining team interactions across various disciplines. All efforts are geared toward our client's common goal of bringing solar and energy storage projects from concept to reality over a multi-year development period.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrate 2-5 years of proven project management experience.

• Possess commercial and project management expertise in renewable energy on behalf of our client.

• Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree.

• Proficient in establishing and maintaining project budgets and schedules for our client.

• Display the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects involving both internal and external stakeholders for our client.

• Exhibit strong organizational skills, displaying enthusiasm in overseeing several projects at different stages of development, from land prospecting to initial operations for our client.

• Proven collaborative, task-flexible, and goal-oriented team contributor.

• Willingness to travel, with up to 20% of the time dedicated to representing our client's interests.
