What Your Role Is
As a Senior Systems Studies Engineer, your primary focus will be to:
- **Independently Lead Cutting-Edge Studies:** Utilize and expand software capabilities like PSS/E, PSLF, and more to conduct a spectrum of studies, from load flow to transient stability and beyond.
- **Drive Innovation in Software Use:** Enhance software proficiency to conduct insulation coordination, harmonic analysis, and grounding studies for T&D equipment, including FACTS and HVDC.
- **Pioneer Renewable Energy Studies:** Use software like CYME, etap, and Plexos to explore renewable resource integration and smart grid applications.
- **Shape Technical Proposals:** Lead and contribute to large-scale technical proposals, steering studies across various markets and partnerships.
What Skills You Will Need
We're seeking candidates who possess:
- **Advanced Knowledge:** A degree in Electrical Engineering coupled with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in power systems studies or utility system planning.
- **Expertise in Software:** Proficiency in an array of software such as MATLAB, Python, PSCAD, and more, essential for in-depth simulations and modeling.
